Maanantaiaamu Erkki Toppisen hanhikojussa Limingassa tuotti heinistä huolimatta jonkinlaisia kuvia merihanhesta kuuraisella heinäpellolla. Valitettavasti itselläni ei ollut aikaa kuin yksi aamu olla tuossa kojussa, sillä loppuviikko kului Etelä-Suomessa yrittämässä metson soitimen kuvausta! Ehkäpä jo ensi viikolla tärppää ja näemme metson viikon kuvassa?

Spring migration in Oulu area is going strong at the moment! Fields are full of birds, but they are not easy to photograph. Almost all the geese in Finland are shy (because of autumn hunting) and it requires hidework before one can photograph Bean Geese or Greylag Geese! Monday morning in hide in Liminka produced some images of Greylag Geese on frosty hayfield! Rest of the week I have been in Southern Finland finding out Capercaillie leksites for BBC! Maybe next week I will have Capercaillie as a weeks image?
