Alkuviikosta oli pari aurinkoista päivää, mutta loppuviikolla vallitsi kaamosajalle tyypillinen harmaa ja kostea sää. Tiistaina kuvasin ruokintapaikalla pari gigan kortillista kuvia paikalla vierailevista kesyistä pikkulinnuista. Kuvia syntyi ilman piilokojua mm. hömötiaisesta, talitiaisesta ja töyhtötiaisesta.

Valitsin töyhtötiaisen viikon kuvaksi, sillä se on yksi suosikkilinnuistani. Sen vilkas ja pirteä töyhtöpäinen olemus tuo toivottua eloa muuten niin ankeaan kuvaajan marraskuuhun.

There were couple of sunny days at the beginning of the week. But after that it has been typical November weather; dark, grey and wet. On Tuesday while it was still sunny, I spent an hour or so at our forest feeder and I got some images of Willow-, Great- and Crested Tits. Bullfinches were all over the place also, but this time I didn´t use hide, so they didn´t dare to come to the feeder.

I chose Crested Tit as image of the week, since it is one of my favourite birds. It is such a lovely and lively small bird and it brings some life in to the otherwise boring November.
