Vähiin käy ennenkuin loppuu kokonaan, valo nimittäin! Sillä pilvettöminä päivinäkään aurinko ei järin korkealle nouse ja tästä ne päivät vielä vaan lyhenevät. Kuluneella viikolla ehdin vain sunnuntaina pariksi tunniksi kuvaamaan metsäruokintapaikalle, josta ei ihmeitä syntynyt. No joku kuva hömpästä ja punatulkusta, mutta valot eivät olleet hääppöiset.

Joten viikon kuvaksi päätyikin viime viikolla Latviassa rannalla kuvaamani pulmunen.

Days are getting shorter and shorter couple of more weeks. Sunrise in Oulu at the moment is about 9.40 and sunset 14.30. Althought sun stays very low in horizon, snow lightens up the landscape beautifully. In bright days there is still 3-4 hours time to take photos. However this week I only got out on Sunday to take photos for couple of hours at our forest feeder. There were plenty of birds visiting the site, but photography wasn´t easy. I managed to get some photos of Bullfinches and Willow Tits.

Therefore I chose as image of the week the Snow Bunting which I photographed last week on the beach in Latvia.
